The Nako Research and Preservation Project (NRPP) is part of the National Research Network 'Cultural History of the Western Himalaya', directed by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Deborah Klimburg-Salter, and supported by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF).
The Team: Univ.-Prof. Dr. Deborah Klimburg-Salter, Director (University of Vienna, Department of Art History), Univ.-Prof. Dr. Gabriela Krist (University of Applied Arts Vienna, Conservation Department) and architect Romi Khosla, Romi Kholsa Design Studios, New Delhi, India.
The Executive Committee directing the Nako Research and Preservation Project includes: the late Ernst Bacher (Chairman), Romi Khosla, Deborah Klimburg-Salter (director), Gabriela Krist, Hokum Chand Negi, Gabriella Schallenberg, Ernst Steinkellner, H.E. Herbert Traxl and Kapila Vatsayayan.
